Skin Renovation
Skin renovation without the surgery…
Considering surgery? Contemplating the reality of it all? Fractora delivers targeted bipolar RF energy to selectable depths of the skin. It exceeds the results of fractional CO2 without prolonged downtime and/or redness, and potential pigmentation issues.* Dr. Abraham provides full-scale treatment depths with customizable fractional energy to improve superficial skin tone problems (photo damage) in addition to deep textural concerns (rhytids and tightening).* Experience Designer Dermis (™) with results that were previously unattainable.* ‘Designer Dermis’ technology is a first of its kind bipolar radiofrequency skin resurfacing treatment that uses variable settings to facilitate customized heat and treatment depth for each patient. It is safe for use on multiple areas of the body, including the neck, face, chest and sensitive areas like the upper and lower eyelid. Many people are choosing fractionated skin resurfacing in Sherwood as an alternative to other cosmetic treatments, such as dermal fillers, because the treatment is capable of boosting collagen production and filling in lines and wrinkles, as well as improving overall skin tone, texture and clarity.* Maximum results for skin laxity (looseness) and generation of new collagen are seen 3-6 months post treatment.* Superficial changes (tone, texture, pigmentation, macropores) can be seen within weeks.*
The number of conditions improved by Fractora would require treatment with multiple competing technologies to achieve the same results.*
Fractora is safe and effective for the treatment of:
- brown spots*
- redness*
- broken capillaries*
- fine lines*
- deep wrinkles*
- uneven skin tone*
- poor texture*
- cystic acne*
- laxity (loose skin)*
How does Fractora compare to other types of Sherwood skin rejuvenation treatments?
Compared to CO2 laser resurfacing, Fractora goes above and beyond expectations, achieving equal or better results with far less downtime, post-treatment redness and other side effects.* Furthermore, Fractora is safe for use on nearly all types of skin and most areas of the body, including the neck, face, and hands. Unlike other treatments like CO2 lasers – patients will not have a line of demarcation around the treatment area.* In comparison to other non-invasive treatments like Thermage and Ulthera, patients tend to enjoy much faster results.* Unlike Thermage and Co2 resurfacing, it is safe to treat neck and other areas with profound contraction delivering outstanding results.*
*Results may vary from person to person.
What should I expect from a Sherwood Fractora treatment?
Fractora is an in-office procedure that takes between 45 minutes and 2 hours to complete depending on the type and size of the treatment area. Prior to treatment, the skin is numbed with a topical anesthetic. During a Fractora treatment, microneedles on the Fractora hand piece are applied to the skin and an impulse is delivered through the tip. It is normal to feel warmth and muscle twitching, however, most patients find treatments highly tolerable.*
Will I need to recover from a Fractora treatment?
Fractora is minimally-invasive and requires far less downtime than CO2 skin resurfacing.* Expect to have some redness and swelling immediately following treatment, though this will subside within a few days.* Treatment “downtime” varies and is dependant on the types of tips, level of energy and number of passes that were administered. Dr. Abraham will determine the right treatment for you depending on your needs and goals. In most cases, a patient can wear make-up again in as little as one or two days after treatment.* There are very few post-procedural instructions for Fractora patients, though you will need to avoid excessive sun exposure after treatment.
